Produce Distributor Order Selector FULL-TIME $20/hr 201 NE 2nd Ave, Portland, OR 97232 This position is responsible for fulfilling customer orders by picking merchandise from racks and storage areas and efficiently assembling the product on pallets to fill customer orders. Essential Functions: ◾Operating a hand-held scanner ◾Operating a pallet jack ◾Stacking produce cases ◾Building pallets and tagging them appropriately Skills: ◾At least 6 months of experience operating an electric riding pallet jack ◾Warehouse experience ◾Excellent problem-solving abilities ◾Good oral and written communication skills (ability to read and write in English, as is affected by direction and paperwork) ◾Good attention to detail and ability to determine quality and glean spoiled or inferior products as needed. ◾Must e able to lift up to 50# repeatedly Schedule - Shift start: 4:00PM - Shift length: 10 - 13.5 hours - Days: 5days/week, Sundays required (Swing shift) Saturday required (Day shift) Benefits - Health, vision insurance available after 60 days - Paid time off - 401k Requirements - At least 6 months of experience operating an electric riding pallet jack - Warehouse experience - Good oral and written communication skills (ability to read and write in English, as is affected by direction and paperwork) - Must be at least 18+ years old - Must pass drug screen (cannabis included) - Must pass background check - Can lift 50 lbs
