C&S Wholesale Grocers Building/MHE Maintenance Technician FULL-TIME $28/hr 2503 Northwest Sundial Road, Troutdale, OR 97060 As a Building/MHE Maintenance Technician, you will perform the duties of a Material Handling Equipment (MHE) technician as well as the duties of a Building Technician. You will oversee and repair building infrastructure and related support systems. You will also assist in the safe operation, daily monitoring, and maintenance of all building-related infrastructure. In addition, you will also provide support to supporting functions and the Maintenance Manager to ensure assets are managed accordingly. Duties include: 1. Performing the duties of a MHE Technician: - Overseeing the safe operation, repairs, and preventative maintenance of MHE equipment, including electric and propane industrial forklifts, pallet jacks, hi-low lifts, scissor lifts, scrubbers/sweepers, battery charging stations and cars, and batteries. - Assisting the Maintenance Manager to ensure assets are managed in accordance with equipment and parts manufacturers, equipment and parts suppliers, EPA, OSHA, and applicable State and Local Codes. - Completing weekly preventative maintenance within established timelines with concise reporting or required inspections, evaluations, P.M. procedures, etc. - Assisting in managing outside battery, MHR, and electrical contractors conducting service, repair, and new contract work. 2. Performing the duties of a Building Technician: - Overseeing and repairing the building infrastructure and related support systems. - Assisting in the safe operation, daily monitoring, and maintenance of all building-related infrastructure. - Completing weekly preventative maintenance within established timelines. - Responsible for housekeeping and cleaning up all maintenance areas, rooms, and all project areas on a daily basis. 3. Cross-Functional Partnership: - Assisting the building and refrigeration maintenance teams; duties will include assisting in general building repairs, electrical troubleshooting and repairs, refrigeration systems repair and maintenance, and other general maintenance activities. - Assisting the battery technicians; duties will include assisting in battery charger repairs, battery changes for MHE, repair of plugs and tips of batteries and chargers, watering and washing batteries, acid spill clean-up, battery rack cleaning, battery area sweeping and cleaning, and other general maintenance activities. - Assist maintenance lead in developing standard operating procedures, daily work schedules, and duty cycles for all repairs and maintenance for MHE and battery equipment.
