Description

Looking for a new home for our two year old Australian Cattle Dog aka Blue Heeler. Our situation has drastically changed since adopting her and unfortunately we are no longer able to properly meet her needs. The good: -She is spayed, current on her rabies vaccine, and registered with the county. -She is the SWEETEST dog. Extremely polite, well behaved, loving. - She is 100% potty trained. Has never had a single accident. - She is great with our outgoing cat, they cuddle each other in her bed and play wrestle. I can’t say how she’d do with scared cats that run, she does have a prey drive. Squirrels are the enemy. -She is amazing with my older kids. I don’t however recommend her to a home with young kids though, I can’t promise she wouldn’t herd squealing toddlers/nip at their ankles. She is a heeler after all. The “bad”: -She is due for her parvo vaccine (but has been current up until now) - She has mild allergies that make her a bit itchy. - She will get into the trash if you leave it out when you’re not home, she is otherwise not destructive at all. - She has never been around farm animals, no clue how that’d go. -She can be a little shy and passive in new situations but once she warms up and builds some confidence she is perfect. She is truly an incredible dog. She does require STRUCTURED exercise though. Please do not contact me if you are not able to provide exercise beyond fetch/letting her run in the yard. While she would appreciate a big yard I’m sure, she needs someone active that does hiking/biking/jogging/etc. Please text me ) and tell me about your situation. We are in no hurry to find her a home and will absolutely wait until the perfect fit. A rehoming fee of $150 will apply and she will come with everything we have for her. (Lots of food, her bed, collar and leash, toys, etc)
