FRANKFORT, IL — Frankfort has set its trick-or-treating hours for 2 to 7 p.m. on Halloween. The Frankfort Police Department will also have its "special spooky squads" visiting various subdivisions from 12 to 3 p.m. on Saturday. Squad cars will be driving through and throwing out candy, so you can just stand out in your front yard. It did list traditional trick-or-treating as a higher risk activity and stated that costume masks should not be used in place of cloth face masks. You also should not wear a costume mask over a face mask, because it can make it hard to breathe. The CDC suggested using a Halloween-themed cloth mask.
