JOB REQUIREMENTS: EMT's & Paramedics: The EMT & Paramedic job function is to transport sick and injured persons by ambulance in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort and to administer Basic Life Support & Advanced Life Support pre-hospital care and treatment within the limits defined by the State of Illinois law and Silver Cross EMS System & limitations defined by their license level. Must be able to perform all essential job functions of an EMT/Paramedic lifting/moving patients, bending, squatting, sitting, pushing & pulling a stretcher etc. in addition to all medical functions as licensed by the State of Illinois Department of Public Health.Must keep State Licensure Current with the hospital system we are associated with as well as in good standing with the State of Illinois Department of Public Health which includes staying current with mandated CE & Certifications.
