Lumber Jack & Jill Tree Service is looking for an experienced climber. Ideally we are looking for someone with at least 1 year of climbing experience or experience in the tree care industry. Must be professional in attitude. Reliable transportation Positive attitude Responsibilities: Climbers perform a variety of tasks including groundwork, climbing, pruning, removals, training and driving/dumping company vehicles. Climbers promote and encourage safety culture to help protect themselves, the team and the public from harm. Assist with the implementation of work zone safety procedures. Assist all team members working on the ground and aloft. Operate and maintain chippers, chainsaws, and all other equipment safely. Assist with driving, backing, dumping, and parking duties. Learn and demonstrate high safety standards, sound tree risk assessment skills, equipment inspection skills, proper pruning and rigging. Qualifications: Climbing experience utilizing rope and saddle when pruning, knowledge of knots, chainsaw operation and chipper operation. General knowledge of maintenance of gear and equipment Driver’s License required ability to be insured on company policy, CDL a plus Pay rate: $20-25 per hour, depending on experience.
