Have you wanted to learn how to sew but didn't know where to start? Are you years removed and need a refresher? This course is for you! The beginner's crash course is a curriculum based class that acts as if you've never touched a sewing machine. We cover the names of the parts of the machines, how to change and adjust settings, running stitches, how to use a lock stitch, and basic safety. By the end of the night, you go home with a pin cushion you made with all your new skills! Absolutely everything is provided for you in class, all you have to do is show up. Class is at my house in Wake Forest and capped at three students. Everyone has their own table for a work space and their own loaner sewing kit and sewing machine if you need one. You can reserve your spot by emailing me. Class runs from 6:30pm-9:30pm. Ages 16 and up.
