We are hiring residents of Hays County to participate in a jury research project on one of the following Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to approx. 2:00 p.m. via Zoom. - Sat., April 2, 2022 - Sat., April 16, 2022 Participants will listen to and see evidence during presentations of both sides of a real legal case. Our intention is for you to come to a verdict decision about the case. **We will pay you $25 per hour for the session, which will last from four to five hours. Participants in these projects report them to be enjoyable and worthwhile. You need no qualifications other than the ability to listen to both sides of a dispute, and then make a fair decision. You must also be able to use Zoom, and to complete forms on a computer **during the session** [or to print and complete them by hand during the session then scan and send them later]. *Please note, some cases may include facts and evidence which may be sensitive for some jurors. We will let you know the nature of any sensitive information when we send your survey.* You can respond by clicking the “reply” button, and we will send you a brief survey to complete and return. If you would like to participate, we need to hear from you by Friday, March 11, 2022. Available slots fill quickly, so the sooner you return your survey, the better!
