seeking pocket drummer+bassist for noisy dance-centric alt/grunge rock

Newtown PA

Description

I’m a guitar player, vocalist and songwriter. I also produce, record and mix. I’m posting this with the aim of meeting a drummer and bassist who are interested in making a very specific type of danceable, grungy/noisy/alternative rock music. For samples of my guitar playing and songwriting, search "615408948" on s0undcl0ud. My goal is basically just to have a good time making a crazy racket out in the countryside. Anything beyond that would be a welcome extra. ********** There's an example of a drum pattern I'd be into in with the other samples I mention above. I'm looking for drumming similar to that. I’m thinking about supplementing the sound of the drums with an analog kick module (triggered by your playing—there are little clip-on triggers). The module would get piped into to a bass amp cranked to stupid volumes. It would sound like layering an 808 under a sampled breakbeat. Example: search "Tim Dog bronx" With the bass guitar, I’m looking something disco-ish and/or acid-y. Examples: Chic “Good Times”, The Beloved “The Sun Rising”. Vibey stuff. Overall, the objective is something very danceable, "underground" (endearingly noisy/crude), and jarringly loud. Like a warehouse party at a g*n range, with pop hooks. I fantasize about jury-rigging a janky-but-powerful PA so we can play invite-only gigs at unconventional venues—galleries, barns, whatever. How does that sound to you?
