KC Police Continue To Seek Toddler's Killer

From the Kansas City Police Department: September 23, 2020 Just before 3 p.m. Mon., Sept. 21, someone fired into a vehicle parked in the 2900 block of E. 33rd Street. Inside that car were three adults and a 22-month-old. Two adults and the toddler were struck. The driver went to the Kansas City Missouri Fire Department station at Linwood and Indiana to seek help. Firefighters aided all three people who were shot before transporting them to area hospitals. The toddler died. He has been identified as Tyron Payton. The other adults who were shot were his parents. They remain hospitalized. Kansas City Police are working tirelessly to find the person who would exhibit such reckless disregard for human life, especially that of an innocent child.
