From Kansas City Water: October 13, 2020 KC Water responded to a wastewater overflow near 5816 Walrond Avenue at 11:40 a.m. Tuesday, October 13, 2020. It ended at 1:00 p.m. the same day. An investigation found a manhole overflowing at the location. Wastewater surfaced and entered into Town Fork Creek. Cleaning crews opened a debris stoppage 102 feet from manhole restoring normal flow to the collection system. Cleaning crews will flush the creek to dilute the spilled wastewater.
