Trump's weakening of NATO, with the ultimate goal dismantling it, was the ideal opportunity for Putin to begin the Ukrainian invasion. The Russians walked all over Trump and they went unchecked by that farce-of-a-president. The Ukraine is only the beginning of a much bigger Russian objective. They're testing and assessing US/European resolve, response, tactics, strength and weaknesses. In 2016, Carly Fiorella was ahead of the curve to assert she would begin a sharp build up in Poland and substantially strengthen our posture and response capability against the Russians. With the Trump regime, we got the antithesis. Do you recall Trump's words...we're friends with Russia. We get along with the Russians just fine. Trump was in a costly, false comfort zone. If Trump were re-elected, which he wasn't, Putin was counting on Trump to have dismantled NATO to give way to Putin's vast assault on Europe. The Ukraine is only the beginning. Hitler said Germany needed "living space." Putin says he's "peacekeeping." Trump says Putin's war prowess is "smart and intelligent." This is no time for the US to take a back seat in this conflict. Americans cannot be indecisive or weak with regards to this mad-man's resolve. A new world order is beginning and it won't stop. Trump was the star puppet on Putin's stage.
