My name is Daniel and I am looking for some guitar, fiddle, dobro and/or mandolin players who enjoy sharing songs in a casual, social distancing living room.I could explain alot about myself and the bands I've played in while living in Southern California until three months ago... but it'd be much easier if you just get ahold of me. I've been a guitarist, bassist and cellist for over 20 years, playing in quite a few professional bands, with hundreds of pictures proving so. I'm 33. Established working kick ass Metal/Hard Rock cover band with some original songs too looking for rhythm guitar. Plenty of gigs lined up and waiting. You must have some serious chops and know your place in a band as part of the rhythm section with the bassist and drummer and stay out of the way of the lead guitarist and the lead vocalist to do their thing. You must have your own quality gear and transportation. I'm a local, have two degrees in music production, have a job in audio/video, and have all the most updated gear ready to record. I can record up to 26 tracks at one time as a full band and also have instruments and musicians available. Mixing and mastering all done as well in one package. Looking for keys for established band with paying gigs booked and regular rehearsals. We focus on original soul/funk/R&B and play some covers in that vein. You have a professional attitude with an understanding of music theory and your own gear and are between the ages of 21-40. Background vocals and soloing chops is a plus. Next gig is March 19th in Ashland. It's preferred for this person to also sing but not required. Also, open if you can play other string instruments as well. We are playing mostly originals and we currently have a mandolin player, an upright bass player, and a guitarist/banjoist. We have a nice practice space in Decatur with full p.a. gear.
