2 Parakeets to a good home - FREE!

1234 I cant post looking to rehome them on social media, cant find anyone, and cant find a bird rescue nearby. If you have a recommendation for how to find them a new home, suggestions are more than welcome. Craigslist prohibited list specified that rehoming is acceptable to post, and that's my goal. These two are pretty quiet parakeets outside of when they realize it's morning or hear running water, which is a natural budgie behavior that only lasts a minute or two. Everything you need is included. (Cage, food, perches, some cleaning supplies, etc.) The two of them are clearly not comfortable living with me, and it appears to be having an adverse effect on them. They shy away, run away, and now it's to the point where they bite me as hard as they can. They're too frightened to leave their cage at all. The only time they do is when I try to clean or otherwise maintain their cage, and that scares them even more to the point that they do fly out. I've given them over 2 months to get comfortable with living here, and the situation is only worsening instead of improving. I'm hoping to hear from someone with experience taking care of birds, but at this point, anywhere would probably be better for them than here. Again, absolutely no cost whatsoever, everything is free. Perfect for someone with prior budgie experience, or someone who has no interest in getting physically close with them. When they do get scared out of their cage during maintenance, they will fly back in on their own as soon as the cage is left alone again, as that's where they are comfortable. They love the swing.
