Seasonal Marina Assistant/Dock Hand Are you looking for a fun summer job right on Long Island Sound? The Marina Assistant/Dock Hand works directly with members and their boats. Our marina houses around 50 boats throughout the summer season. Both Part-time and Full-time seasonal positions are available! Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with marina management and the safe dockage of private yachts and vessels. General boat yard maintenance. Maintain and clean docks, walkways, ramp ways, equipment, restrooms, and other areas. Assist and support special events/activities taking place at the marina. Seasonal start-up and shut down of Marina. Team player, customer service skills, must have own transportation. Launch operator license desired but not required. Boat handling and knowledge of nautical terminology or the ability to learn quickly preferred. Should be moderately familiar with hand and power tools or willing to learn. Customer Service experience preferred. Part-time and Full-time seasonal available. Flexible hours! Pay based upon experience.
