Looking for a man who would like to have some fun together sometime..!! . . . . . . . . . . . . We are an informal band consisting of bass/vocalist, an amazing guitarist, keyboards, and drums. We play some blues standards, blues/rock, everything from the Stones, to the Allman Bros, Elmore James, Iggy Pop, Beatles, T Rex, CCR, Bonnie Raitt/John Prine, Jimmy Reed, Cream, Blind Faith,etc. We are open to music, new ideas and suggestions. If you're a smokin' lead shredder, we want you! If you are an intermediate rhythm guitarist, we want you too! What is needed? sobriety, respect for each other, family atmosphere conversation, grand-children's pictures if applicable, no politics (really, does that need to be mentioned ?) A covered dish with homemade oatmeal cookies would be nice, but not required. It's all about picking each other up and not dragging the other down. Once established, all will contribute to the song list. Rehearsal is once a week. The are no gigs schedule. None of us do this for the income. Caligula is an original rock/metal band who seeks a bass player. We are currently preparing our setlist to gig and release music. We don’t lock ourselves into the box of any genre, our music is an aggressive punk drummer, an intoxicating female vocalist, and a spectacular guitarist who lays down dark, heavy, sometimes beautifully melodic grooving riffs that will make you dance and weep. We are looking for a committed bass player that brings their own energy to the table. We are in our early 20s, looking for someone in that age range ideally.We have a rehearsal space and would like to be rehearsing once a week on weekends once things get going, then getting out and doing some gigs, and potentially some recording as well. Nothing too serious, not looking to make it, but you do need a little time to dedicate to the project. Against The Damned is currently in need of a guitarist, if you look us up, just know our music we’re working on now is heavier than what is currently out, we’re a harder not so much death metal, but harder thrash band.
