Ares is gorgeous blue-eyed, Male Red Siberian Husky in need of a new home in or around Portland, or the Willamette River Valley. If you are looking for the sweetest, most relaxed, and most affectionate husky then Ares would be the perfect dog for you. Ares is 3 years old and weighs about 60 lbs. He has been neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his vaccines. He is also crate-trained, house-trained, and wonderful on the leash considering he has never had any formal training. Although he has never been socialized he is very people friendly, he’s also very smart, mellow, and just a wonderful dog! He's also a big love bug! He likes toys, playtime, walks, car rides, lots of pets, lots of kisses, and lots of cuddles. He will come with his crate, toys, food (for easier transition), flea meds, and vet records. Ares had had a rough life and is ready to have the best life he deserves. He has never lived outside of a very small cage in the corner of someone's backyard until now. He's been used strictly for backyard breeding his entire life. He ended up in a shelter and was adopted into a home with another husky and it was soon discovered he is not dog friendly. It is with a heavy heart his current owner has decided to rehome him because the fighting among the dogs has become very stressful for the entire family and the other dog. They are currently having to keep them separated at all times and feel it's unfair for both dogs. 🚨Adoption Requirements🚨 Ares, will need a devoted and loving adopter that currently has no other pets in the home due to is dog reactivity.
