Learn about the science of soil. Participate in a hands-on exploration of what kind of soil you have in your landscape. Eighty percent of garden problems stem from soil issues. Once you understand the science of soil, you'll know how to properly manage your soil for good plant growth. There will be a hands-on portion of this class involving soil testing. If you would like to test soil from your landscape for these tests, please bring 1-2 cups of soil. Let this soil dry in a sunny window for 24 hours before class and bring it in a bag or other container. If you are unable to attend due to financial difficulties, please email [email protected].
