Most women find that from about the age of 30 they need to start adapting their makeup techniques, because the same things just simply don't work anymore or no longer look like they once did. As you get older your face shape and skin texture changes and you develop fine lines and wrinkles. You may notice a loss of elasticity as well as a loss of pigmentation. Your skin might look thinner, paler and perhaps you notice the appearance of dark under eye circles. All your familiar makeup products and techniques may no longer be doing you any favors. Makeup has the power to take years off your face when used correctly. It should enhance the way you look, emphasizing your best features and minimizing the areas you are unhappy with. But when used incorrectly, it can do the opposite and age you. This class is designed to provide you with all the techniques and skills necessary to achieve a more youthful look at home. Makeup should be fun and most importantly, make you feel your best. It should not age you or leave you feeling overwhelmed. This is your opportunity to learn what makeup techniques will enhance your natural beauty and to understand which products will work best for aging skin. Anja will be doing a step-by-step live demo, so you can recreate the easy-to-follow makeup look on your own face. Anja will also make important suggestions on lifestyle changes that are easy to incorporate into your daily routines, but which can have a huge impact on the appearance of your skin. She will also touch on the subject of non-invasive procedures, so as Botox and fillers. Leave this workshop feeling empowered, confident, and excited to apply what you have learned. About Anja:Anja attended the Academy of Freelance Makeup in New York and received her certificate in 2011. As best in her class, Anja was selected to work backstage at London Fashion Week in 2012. She has over a decade of experience working in beauty, fashion, commercials, bridal, film and photography. In 2016, Anja started teaching at CMC Makeup School to follow her passion of mentoring and helping others succeed.
