Join Albany Law BLSA in celebrating black excellence. Our gala honors James Campbell Matthews, the 1st Black judge in New York State. The legal community is invited to Albany Law's Black Law Student Association’s 3rd Annual James Campbell Matthews Gala. This is a celebration of Black Exellence and a chance to honor the individuals who have shaped history in the United States. The evening will include speakers, awards presentation, and more. A James Campbell Matthews Award will be given to a student in each school. The award is for a student who excelled beyond adversity. Attire: Black Tie Required. All black attrie for uniformity and solidarity. Cost includes: - 3-Course Meal - 3 hours of open bar - DJ, Live entertainment, and more *seating subject to change
