The Spring 2022 Indiana MAA Section Meeting will take place Saturday, April 9th at Indiana Wesleyan University. The Spring 2022 Indiana MAA Section Meeting will take place Saturday, April 9th at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, IN. For complete up-to-date information about this meeting, visit the Indiana MAA's website. All attendees are required to wear masks indoors at the conference. Registration Information Regular registration rates apply to everyone EXCEPT students (high school, undergraduate, and graduate), high school teachers, retired and unemployed participants, and non-mathematician guests. Regular registration is $25 until March 23, 2022 and is $30 after March 23, 2022. Students (high school, undergraduate, and graduate), high school teachers, retired and unemployed participants, and non-mathematician guests receive free registration for the conference. You can order lunch for Saturday for an additional $10 until March 23, 2022. Lunch will consist of boxed lunches (a sandwich, whole fresh fruit, pasta salad, chips, cookie, and bottled water); you will be given the opportunity to note any dietary restrictions before completing your order. You may buy multiple tickets and register a group of people. The next EventBrite page will ask for information on each attendee. This will ease the registration process at the meeting. Some of the demographic questions are optional and requested by the national MAA to gather statistics on meeting attendance. ICMC Information The Spring 2022 ICMC will take place in the morning on Saturday, April 9th. The registration fee for the ICMC is $20 per team (each consisting of up to 3 students) and will be accepted through through Friday, April 1st. When registering an ICMC team, you do not need to provide the names of the team members; you will be asked to provide these on-site just before the competition. Note: EventBrite (not the IN-MAA) charges a fee per ticket sold. You are urged to purchase your tickets in such a way as to minimize the amount of the fee you are charged by EventBrite. If you do not want to pay by credit card, but instead you wish to pay by check and/or register by mail, contact Stacy Hoehn ([email protected]) for more information. Refund Policy: A registrant who will be unable to attend the meeting can receive a refund of all but $5 of the registration fee by making a request to the Secretary before the start of the meeting. If a registrant informs the Secretary that a prepaid meal ticket will not be used, then that ticket will be made available for purchase during the meeting. If the ticket is purchased, that money will be refunded.
