Join Natural Dividends & One Sea Star for a Beach Cleanup at Santa Monica Beach Join Natural Dividends & One Sea Star for a beach cleanup at Santa Monica Beach Sunday, April 10th, 10:30 am Where: the beach at Ocean Park, near Station #26 This is our second of three cleanups. At our first cleanup in February, we had 82 people in attendance and picked up over 35 lbs of trash! One Sea Star partners with Heal the Bay's Adopt-A-Beach program to clean up Santa Monica's Ocean Park (station 26) beach three times a year. Collecting trash and data to report back to Heal the Bay and to have policy changes made possible, they are very excited to contribute to the health of Santa Monica Bay and the people who enjoy it. Come out and learn what we can do as individuals to stop polluting the beaches and ocean, clean up some trash, and give our marine life and ecosystem a fighting chance. What to bring? - Gloves and plastic bags or buckets for the trash pickup. We will have limited supplies on hand. - We recommend participants wear closed-toed shoes, sunblock, and a hat. - Water and reusable water bottle - Backpack and snacks are also recommended The event is free, and all are welcome. We also have a ticket option to donate if you would like to. Every dollar helps Increase Nature's Share. REMINDER: We adhere to any federal, state, or local COVID-19 guidelines. Do not attend the event if you have tested positive for COVID-19, are waiting for COVID-19 test results, are showing COVID-19 symptoms, or you have had close contact with a person who has tested positive for or who has symptoms of COVID-19.
