Join us for a fun spring craft at the Fairmount Community Garden. Great for kids 2 and up. Start Spring with a fun craft at the Fairmount Community Garden. We'll read a book about Spring, and then you'll paint a mini clay pot to grow your own special plant in. We'll help you pick the right seeds for the season. You're welcome to take your plant home to care for, or you can leave it at the garden so you have an excuse to come by every week. Supplies provided by the Fairmount Community Garden, and seeds provided by Tarrant Area Food Bank. Space is limited to 10 kids + their adults. Bring a snack or pack a lunch to enjoy after your crafting is done. We have a fun mud kitchen and other sensory materials you can enjoy before and after class. Donations from this event will go towards installing a mural at the garden.
