Join us for a Highland Park Poetry Live Event At Madame ZuZu's Featuring Gail Goepfert and an open mic! This Event is Free and open to the public with a one purchase minimum. Attendance is based on first come first serve. RSVP does not guarantee entry. Open Mic Poets can bring up to 3 poems to share, each no longer than 1 page. Highland Park Poetry welcomes Marcia Pradzinski as our first featured poet of 2022! Marcia J. Pradzinski is a retired ESL instructor who taught at the University of Illinois Chicago. She is the author of two books of poetry, Left Behind published by Finishing Line Press in 2015 and As One Day Slips Out of the Shoe of Another released by Kelsay Books in 2021. Highland Park Poetry-Jennifer Dotson-Founder & Program Coordinator Madame Zuzu’s, a local plant-based teashop in highland park, Illinois. Owned and operated by musician Billy Corgan, founder of the grammy winning band the smashing pumpkins and fashion designer Chloe Mendel combining insanely delicious plant-based foods , rare teas of the world and an open source venue for the arts.
