Paddle Lady Bird Lake in Austin by kayak or SUP to benefit Alzheimer’s research and caregiver support. Paddle on Lady Bird Lake in your choice of a kayak, canoe, or stand up paddleboard (SUP) to benefit Alzheimer’s research and caregiver support. Alzheimer’s is the sixth largest cause of death in the US and terribly hard on individuals and families. Paddle to Remember with your friends and others right in the middle of Austin to raise money to help fight Alzheimer’s disease. All proceeds from this event go to ALZ. General Admission $30/person This ticket gives one person access to paddle at their leisure in a kayak, canoe, or stand up paddleboard from 9:00 am-7:00 pm at Rowing Dock. A General Admission ticket also gives you access to the afternoon activities and includes one raffle ticket. Guests will be required to show proof of their ticket purchase, sign a liability waiver, and bring a valid state-issued ID and matching credit card to put on file for incidentals. Boat rentals will be available on a first-come-first-served basis. General Admission rental guests will check-in at Rowing Dock and wait in line for processing. We suggest coming earlier in the day to avoid the crowds. Guests must arrive and be checked in by 5:45 pm in order to get out on the water. Guests who arrive past 5:45 pm will not be put on the water and tickets will not be refunded. ** This ticket is per person, not per boat. If you want to paddle in a double kayak or canoe with a friend, you will both need a ticket. Guided Tour $40/ person This ticket allows you to join the Rowing Dock Guide Team on the water for a 1.5 Hour tour of Lady Bird Lake from 4:00 pm -5:30 pm. The guided Tour tickets also give you access to the afternoon activities and one raffle ticket. Guests must arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the tour departure in order to get checked in and on the water. Guests who are not checked in before the tour begins will not be allowed to join the guided tour and refunds will not be provided. Guests will be able to choose from single kayaks or double kayaks. Canoes and stand up paddleboards will not be allowed on the tour. Guided Tour guests will check-in at Rowing Dock with the guide team and will be required to show proof of their ticket purchase and sign a liability waiver. ** This ticket is per person, not per boat. If you want to paddle in a double kayak with a friend or a child, you will both need a ticket. Donate Donations are accepted. All proceeds benefit ALZ. 9am - 7pm - Rowing on your own or with your group (must check out kayak, canoe or SUP by 5:45pm) 2pm-7pm - Stop by the ALZ tent! 4pm-5:30 - Guided paddle tour of the lake (reserved ticket required) 7pm - All boats out of water/Announcement of raffle winners Refund Policy Tickets may be transferred, but refunds will not be offered. If the event is canceled due to inclement weather or any other unforeseen circumstances, guests will be issued a digital gift certificate to Rowing Dock in the equivalent value of their ticket(s).
