Join us for connection and illumination as we gather on Saturday, March 19th from 6:00-8:00pm at OH Yoga Studio for UPLIFT Teen Yoga. Hello UPLIFT Teens! 💜 We are so excited to come together for this special UPLIFT Teen Yoga full moon event! The seasons are changing, and spring is upon us! 🍃 Join us under the illuminated full moon — a wonderful time to reflect, release and reimagine your dreams. It will be a night energized by our connections and creativity. You will leave feeling bold & bright! 🌝🎨💜✨🌷 Here at UPLIFT, our deepest intention is for you to find what you are searching for — inspiration, connection, peace, inner guidance, access to your own superpowers. Often we look outside of ourselves for big answers, but the truth is that it’s all here now, right inside of our own hearts. We provide a safe space for you to show up just as you are. This is your unique opportunity to connect spiritually with yourself and others, and own your whole wellness — mind, body and spirit. This is OPEN to all current UPLIFT teens and newcomers! When: Saturday, March 19th from 6:00-8:00pm Where: OH Yoga in Costa Mesa, 1901 Newport Blvd, Costa Mesa, CA 92627 COVID Protocol: Our intention is to provide a safe environment for everyone. 💜 A designated UPLIFT Mentor will take temperatures upon arrival, and provide hand sanitizer upon arrival and departure. Teens are required to stay home if they feel unwell, are experiencing COVID symptoms, or if they had a potential exposure of COVID. Cost: $24 💜 Testimonial, UPLIFT Teen: For as long as I can remember I have dealt with anxiety. I was always insecure of the way I looked and constantly compared myself to others. From a young age, I had dealt with deaths in my family, and when I was in fourth grade, my mom was diagnosed with cancer. This really took a toll on mine and my family’s life. By middle school, I had fallen into a deep depression. I didn’t have the courage or skills to believe in myself and be myself. I struggled in middle school, socially and academically. I believed I was a failure. By eighth grade, I fell into an all time low and never thought I’d escape my sadness. This was until my mom signed me up for UPLIFT. Little did I know it would change my life. I learned so many skills from just 8 weekly practices. Not only did I find connection with other girls, but also with myself. I started to see a light at the end of a dark tunnel. I was learning the skills to believe in myself and that I could be happy. Once the 8 week series ended, I cried and thought that light I was feeling would disappear, but I began to use the skills I had learned on my own and was able to maintain my happiness. I didn’t really know what to expect of the UPLIFT summer retreat, but let me tell you, it exceeded any expectations I had. The retreat changed my life tremendously. I connected with so many amazing girls and was able to step out of my comfort zone in so many different ways. I found happiness within myself and realized all that I should smile about. UPLIFT has provided me with skills, motivation, and love. I am now in high school and use the skills I have learned from UPLIFT everyday.
