This Foods for a Healthy Heart class is dear to my heart because my husband’s heart disease is what led us to adopt a plant based diet. We learned that research indicates that a plant based diet doesn’t just prevent heart disease, but it can also manage the disease and sometimes reverse it. Since heart disease is the leading cause of death in the U.S. and in many parts of the world, learning to eat in a way that can prevent it and reverse it if it’s already begun is important to all of us!
In this class you will learn that plants contain no dietary cholesterol, little saturated fat, and generous amounts of fiber. These all work together to promote health.
