Anderson Hughes Consulting has several opportunities for the 2022 state and local elections. Signature Gathering, Petition Circulator (Washington, DC) Immediate Hiring for Project that ends on March 23, 2022. $40+ per hour - Weekly pay Primary Election Petition Circulators needed to gather signatures to get political candidates on the ballot for Washington, DC. This project will be completed by March 23, 2022. REQUIREMENTS: 18 years of age or older Reliable, friendly, outgoing and positive personality & attitude Able to approach the general public High school or equivalent (Preferred) Strong communication & social skills Physically able to stand and walk for up to 6 hours Self-motivated & independent worker Preferred skills: 1 year of sales Interest in the political process Job description: Gather signatures on petitions from registered DC voters by working solo or in teams in public areas inside or outside around the City. Must be reliable, able to work independently and contribute to the team effort of getting a set number of signatures by the deadline. Being able to briefly describe the candidate's platform, approach people to ask for their signatures, and turn in petition sheets to the campaign. 10-30 hours per week or 3-4 days per week. Flexible 4-8 hour shifts, morning through evening. Who are we? Anderson Hughes Consulting has an outstanding success record of hiring staff for many projects like SmokeFree DC, the MGM Grand National Harbor, Restaurant Workers Minimum Wage Act, plus national elections. Combined, our Executive Team has over 60 years of Political Campaign and Public Office experience in Washington, DC and Nationwide. Circulators will be compensated per valid signature with the earning potential of $40+ per hour, depending on production. We are asking all workers to commit to working a minimum of 3 days weekly, between until March 23, 2022. RESIDENCY: Open to Non-Residents and Residents of The District of Columbia. Non-DC residents must complete a Non-Resident Circulator Form. DC residents (must provide a copy of ID with DC address). If hired this process must be completed, prior to commencing assignment. This is a 1099 temporary position. All positions are paid as Independent Contractors. Interested? Apply by resume. No resume? We are paying up to $3.50 per voter, who signs both petitions. New Circulators, with no experience, will collect valid signatures from about 10 Voters per hour. 10 valid signatures per hour on 2 petitions = $35 per hour. That’s about $550 weekly! Motivated, experienced Circulators average 20 Voters per hour and will have 20 valid signatures in an hour = $70 per hour. Hardworking, consistent Circulators can easily make $1100 or more for the same amount of time. Perfect for College Students, Freelancers, Contractors, Teachers and Retirees.
