Influenced by music made in the 70’s and 80’s, Darone's goal is to approach contemporary audiences by clashing the old with the new, with styles ranging from disco, soul, jazz, international obscurities and house. ​ Darone DJs monthly at his Club TeeGee residency, is the curator of the popular Silk Road: Journey of the Armenian Diaspora (1971-1982) compilation, and was the Music Supervisor for MIASEEN's 'The Armenian Dating Show'. Most recently, Darone released his 12-inch Prerequisite #1 / Prerequisite #2.
