Thanks for your interest in our Fishing Rodeos! This is a great community event that provides youth the opportunity to catch fish. Thanks for your interest in our Fishing Rodeos! This is a great community event that provides youth the opportunity to catch fish. This event is the Jimmy Shay Memorial Fishing Rodeo at Lick Fork Lake in Edgefield County. This event runs from 9:00am-1:00pm. Check in begins at 8:00am. This is a free event! Age 15 and under are allowed to fish. Additional registration will be available on site until capacity is reached. Rodeos are held rain or shine and if cancelled it will not be rescheduled. Reminders: • Bring your own gear and bait • No pets except service animals • Bucket or cooler to transport your fish • Adults may assist their children, ages 16 and over are not allowed to fish • Feel free to pack a picnic lunch • Some refreshments may be provided, no alcoholic beverages are permitted • Consider bringing a chair, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, bug spray and water Address: 810 Buncombe Street Edgefield, SC 29842 Directions: From the square in downtown Edgefield, travel south on Hwy 23 for 8.3 miles. Bear left onto Hwy 230 and travel for .4 miles. Turn left onto Lick Fork Lake Road (S 19-263), and travel 1.9 miles. Entrance is on right.
