This HANDS-ON Braiding class is designed for beginner braiders and anyone who wants to improve on their craft. The purpose of this class is to teach you braiding techniques and braiding styles that will enable you to braid with confidence. Come learn what YouTube doesn't teach you. What you will learn: Sectioning and Parting the hairMeasuring the hair out for braidsTension Control/Save those edges Transferring hair for braid evenness Adding hair for length Trimming for a neat appearance Razor and Dipping ends of hair Finish Look Techniques What to BRING: A positive attitude and a willingness to learn! Please bring a live model to the class. Your model can be either a male or female and must be available to stay for the entire class. Model must be shampooed and blow dried with NO products in their hair. If you do not have a model you can practice on a mannequin head (must let instructor know prior to class if you will need a mannequin head). All materials will be provided.This is an advance technique and you must know how to do a basic cornrow.
