Press release from the East Village Community School : parents March 4, 2022 Dear EVCS Parents and Guardians, It was great to see parents entering the yard this week and smiles in the recess yard! Our EVCS PA is kicking off a month of reading by hosting the Reading Olympics starting today March 4 – ending Monday, April 4! Sponsor Sheets went home in backpacks today. In support of this fundraising event, each Wednesday in March a grade will be hosting a book & bake sale in the yard. Get a (new to you) book each week for our Reading Olympics! And students are invited to complete the Principal's Challenge (read more about it in English and Spanish).  Thanks to all volunteers and for participating in this event! Please take the NYC School Survey – To take the survey,  go to this link, and log in by entering  "f" followed by your child's nine-digit student identification number (OSIS). Note that the "f" must be lowercase. You can find the OSIS/Student ID on your student's report card, school ID card, or on their NYC Schools Account. You also received a paper copy of the survey and a postage-paid envelope in your child's backpack.  We appreciate your continued support. Been to the pediatrician this school year?  All students must have an updated DOE Health Examination Form on file. Please be sure that we have your health form as soon as possible. The DOE health form is here, for reference. Most pediatricians, upon your request, can share it along with a second page noting the immunizations.
