Here are the top 3 stories in Buffalo today: City Creatures Animal Hospital is hosting a fundraiser to benefit the Buffalo Police Department's K9 unit. The second annual Blue Line for Buffalo event will feature a hockey game between the city's police and fire departments. The event, which will take place March 18 at the LECOM Harborcenter, will also include a silent auction, basket raffles, and meet and greets with the department's K9s and handlers. (WGRZ.com)A teenager who was allegedly involved in the shooting of a security officer at McKinley High School was indicted on Friday morning. The teen is one of two 17-year-old suspects prosecutors say were involved in the beating and stabbing of another student on Feb. 9, when the security officer was shot while attempting to intervene. Both suspects are currently in custody at the Erie County Youth Services Center and will return to court on March 23 for a pre-trial conference.
