Local Restoration Company is seeking a Lead Mold & Water Technician to join our team. This position is often the first responder to clients in need of mitigation services from fire, water, or storm events. You will be required to respond to dispatched emergency calls during the normal business day, and potentially after hours if you are serving on-call. Specific Duties: • Assess damage to property and provide assistance to include but not limited to removal of all affected building materials • Set fans, dehumidifiers, and other equipment to mitigate the loss • Preform emergency extraction of water from various surfaces with truck-mounted or portable equipment • Ability to serve after-hours/on-call on a rotational basis • Communicate effectively with clients and management • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe job site • Provide own hand tools (i.e., hammer, pry bar, screwdriver, tape measure, etc.) • Have a team spirit, positive attitude, excellent customer services skills & great attention to detail Technical Skills: • Proficient knowledge of web-based software platforms • Utilize phone or tablet to upload documentation of loss with photographs and written description • Microsoft Excel and Outlook are a plus, but not required Requirements: • 2 or more years of experience as a Water Restoration Technician • Ability to make independent decisions on the best way to dry out a structure • Must be able to pass a drug test, background check and have a valid driver's license • Consistently walk, stand, climb, kneel, lift and carry 50lbs or more on a daily basis • Must be comfortable working in small spaces • Have a valid driver's license • Ability to work a rotating on-call schedule (work nights and weekends when emergency calls come) • Be able to pass a criminal background driver record check and drug screen • IICRC Certifications Preferred Please submit your resume for consideration.
