BETHLEHEM, PA — Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a series of shootings in the northern part of Lehigh County. Authorities believe someone is shooting randomly into homes. Several homes have been hit in Weisenberg Township, Heidelberg Township and Lowhill Township. No injuries have been reported. A half dozen of these shootings have been reported, State Police said. The first random shooting happened April 3 along the 8200 block of Claussville Road in Weisenberg Township. The following subsequent shootings are also under investigation: April 4, 2020: 8000 block of Clausville Road, Weisenberg Township, Lehigh County April 8, 2020: 7000 block of Saegersville Road, Heidelberg Township, Lehigh County May 2, 2020: 4700 block of Doe Run Court, Lowhill Township, Lehigh County May 14, 2020: 7000 block of Saegersville Road, Heidelberg Township, Lehigh County May 16, 2020: 8300 block of Lyon Valley Road, Weisenberg Township, Lehigh County Pennsylvania State Police ask residents in the area to be vigilant and contact 911 immediately if they observe suspicious activity. Anyone with information regarding the incidents should contact either the Fogelsville barracks at (610) 395–1438 or the Bethlehem barracks at (610) 861–2026.
