BAY SHORE, NY — Union Boulevard in Bay Shore briefly closed Saturday morning as officers from the Suffolk County Police Department responded to a car crash. The single-car crash happened on Union near Thompson Drive shortly after 8 a.m., according to a Suffolk County police spokesperson. The car hit a suspension pole, which caused the vehicle to overturn. The driver of the vehicle was not injured, according to police. The crash closed Union Boulevard for approximately 90 minutes, police said.
