Male: American Bulldog; 11 years, 4 months Big Tuna so looks like he's been posing for a cartoon. His funny face makes everyone smile. And he really lives up to it. He greets all people with his happy tail wagging and gives them affectionate face kisses. He's really a joy to have around! Now in foster, Tuna is pretty independent, just wanting some petting. Then at bedtime he wants all the cuddles he can get. He's a lazy boy and a snoozer. But he does love to go on up to five short walks every day, stopping often to sniff everything. He's friendly to dogs he sees and wants to say hi to them. He's also sweet and friendly to neighboring teenage kids and loves all the petting he can get from them. At home, he's very polite and understands many commands, including sit, down, stay and come. In previous homes, he was happy to stay in crates. Now he free roams nicely, snoozing and doing well when his fosters are away. He will love a home with parents who have experience with older big dogs and giving them medication. He'll do best in a home with few or no stairs, but he enjoys those daily short walks. Come meet this lovable boy!
