We are just starting our journey and currently looking to work with a volunteer Program Manager as well plan to implement our projects in Africa. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills who excels at supporting team goals and passionate about Diabetes and helping people. The Volunteer Program Manager will be mainly responsible for proposal development and leading the team. Willingness to travel to Africa to tour program activities is a plus. The Volunteer Program Manager (VPM) will be responsible for strategic and managerial oversight, program quality and team leadership. The VPM oversees overall coordination and implementation, encourages innovation, and builds and maintains excellent relationship with partners. Provide overall leadership, vision and direction to the team and program partners; Provide technical leadership and ensure program quality; Supervise the work, assess the performance of staff and provide leadership to the team for successful implementation of the Project; Manage appropriate planning and monitoring to ensure informed decision-making and implementation of program activities; Lead efforts to maintain and broaden collaborating organizations in order to disseminate and promote adoption of project innovations; Manage all technical assistance and mentor program staff and partners with a focus on gender, equity and inclusion; Thank you
