The Wine Pub in Point Loma would like to try out and promote more music options at our location. I've realized a couple of things recently, there are musicians who want to get into a rotation and there are musicians who are just starting out that would like to practice their craft. I'd like to capitalize on these needs with the following: 1. Jazz Tuesdays (paid gig): Maybe a individual, maybe a monthly rotation, maybe a ongoing search allowing new jazz musicians to showcase there stuff. 2. Audition Wednesdays: Not just auditioning for possible rotation shifts but a day where you can just practice your craft in front of people. So if you are a local musician, let's talk. The Wine Pub is an over 21, relaxing environment. A place where the customers feel safe with a community feel. Great dinner dishes and great wine. There is really only space for one person (possibly 2 and max 3 if set up small enough), their musical instrument, and set up. It's not crazy loud and the enclosed patio is usually where you'd set up. Start time of 6-6:30. We've never done either idea, so be flexible as we figure it out together.
