Job description American Standard is a leading North American plumbing and building products manufacturer. The Company produces high performing fixtures, stylish faucets and sinks, plus whirlpool tubs and other wellness products for the bath and kitchen. American Standard is looking for an experienced Electrician to undertake a variety of tasks relating to setting up and maintaining electrical wiring for our bathroom division. Your job will involve installing electrical wiring in residential bathroom/shower products, troubleshooting malfunctions and wiring circuits for walk-in tubs. The ideal candidate must be experienced in different kinds of electrical devices and systems. Must be an individual that likes working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in the work that you do for our customers. Responsibilities • Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning bath/shower installations and electrical systems pertaining to our walk-in tub units. • Install safety and distribution components (e.g. sub panels, circuits and panel upgrades etc.) • Connect wiring in electrical circuits ensuring compatibility of components • Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged components Skills • Proven experience as an electrician • Experience in the residential industry and/or commercial electrical bath/shower installations (Previous electrical wiring on walk-in tubs is a plus!) • Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools • Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability • Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overtime if needed • Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician • Valid license to practice profession • Reliable vehicle for transportation to work area is required • Valid and active driver’s license More about us LIXIL makes pioneering water and housing products that make better homes a reality for everyone, everywhere.
