Description

My Venice Beach tribute It took... and how! Finally today February 18, 2022 and I returned to my house/studio to finish what I started filming on a fabulous day with a lot of sun, but quite cold (January 6th) was when I first visited the Venice Beach canals. I knew that one morning would not be enough so I decided to map the city and divide it into filming zones. Of course, my day-to-day and the work of a lowly mortal like me interferes with what would have been 2 full days of filming, but it wasn't quite like that. It took me a lot longer to visit and incorporate everything I thought was relevant and most fundamental. My second visit was only made on the 28th of January, which I dedicated to filming Abbot Kinney Blvd almost exclusively. On the 4th of February, it was time to visit the artworks scattered throughout the large murals. On the 8th of February it was Venice Pier's turn and I even thought that there was already enough material to close my travel vlog, however I was wrong. Two days later I woke up super early with the spirit ready to finish filming. It worked out. It always gives me heart to edit my images but I like to think that I finally approved my work, which only now, after being edited and enhanced, is ready. I know I missed a lot of important aspects and interesting places. But it will have to stay for the future. And Venice Beach has a lot of future because artistically the city doesn't stop.
