... I'm talking about trash (mostly plastics). They're everywhere! The other day, once again, I was handed a plastic fork. I reached out and took it out of obligation and muscle memory, then suddenly realized what i'd done-- but it was already too late! I had this piece of trash in my hand. It was already garbage when I touched it, because it was designed to be wasted: a single-use utensil, born to be chucked.
I'm on craigslist because I'm trying to gather all the information that I can about what we might do. I'm not a scientist nor a policymaker i'm just one leetle human trying to figure out how to approach something that is so big and also keeps breaking apart into... smaller and smaller bits of microplastic! Soon they'll be invisible, then we'll just breathe em, and no one knows what happens after that but the idea of an increasingly large spiral of non-biodegradeable waste feels like a really haunting problem and frankly i'm just trying to sleep well, you know?!??
sos... feel free to leave a voicemail if you have a good solution... or just email me with your thoughts.
thanks for your help,
