Yoda was adopted to be self trained as a guide dog 4 years ago, his age at the time was 1 year. He was excellent at guiding for me, but due to meeting with another dog at a dog park and a fight (no injuries to either dog) he developed a fear response to other dogs. I learned it is in the best interest and safety of other guide dog users, to retire him for guiding services for me. Yoda gets along well with my wife's chihuahua and my neighbor's two German Shorthair's and poodle. Actually plays with one of them chasing a ball, and if he gets the ball, he keeps it. He does fine with our two cats as they often sleep next to him. Yoda is a very good walker, will play tug a war with his jolly ball outside and fetch it when you win the ball from him. He enjoys watching outside through the window of the front door or bedroom window. I can usually tell when the mailman is close to the house, and when certain neighbors are leaving/coming home. Rehoming fee of $50.
