Delivery Driver Responsibilities include: - Operating commercial transit van and / or box truck  - Unpacking furniture at warehouse and disposing of trash - Loading and unloading furniture into transit vans and / or box trucks - White Glove Delivery - bringing furniture from the van / truck into customers’ homes - Handling all furniture with care - Maintaining a neat and tidy appearance - Interacting with customers in a polite and professional manner - Following strict safety standards on and off the road - Must be able to lift heavy loads - This is a on demand weekend position, with delivery runs every other Saturday, pending delivery demand Requirements: - Ability to lift heavy items - Self starter - Warehouse or Delivery experience required - Must be able to work quickly Pay is $25/hour plus tips. The Keeping Room is a small, family-run, furniture store that specializes in fine leather upholstery and artisan-made case goods. Located in Alexandria, VA, we are looking for reliable Delivery Drivers who are able to provide excellent customer service while transporting fine furniture to local customers in a safe and timely manner.
