Description
*post keeps getting removed* if someone knows why let me know please! I just really want to do what is best for my cats!
This is Grizzy she is a beautiful 5 year old long hair cat that loves pets and to snuggle.
She is looking for a new home due to no fault of her own.
She is beautiful and loves to sit on your lap and sleep next to you (or on you) in bed. She loves to be petted, but isn't fond of being picked up - so if you have young children be aware of that. We have a 2 year old and 5 year old whom she loves as along as they don't pick her up.
We have two dogs which she is indifferent about, but will stand her ground if they invade her space, so if you have dogs they need to be respectful of her space.
She is spayed and litter box trained. We were told she was up to date on shots upon originally getting her, but do not have those official records.
We took her in from another person less than a year ago in hopes she would be a friend for our other cat. Unfortunately this has not been the case. Our other cat has developed severe anxiety after welcoming Grizzy onto our home (marking, pulling his own fur, hiding etc). We thought with time he would adapt. He has not. We've tried anxiety medication/feliway etc.
So after working with our vet trying to find a solution, we've determined the best solution to be to remove them from each other and in this case we feel a new home would be best as opposed to keeping one locked in a room at all times. We love Grizzy, but we must prioritize our first cat.
It took her about 2 weeks to adapt to our family so initially she may seem reserved/scared (as is typically with rehoming), but she is super sweet and cuddly :)
There where be a small rehoming fee to ensure she is going to a good home
She will also come with a cat tree :)
Please send me an email with any questions you have and if you are interested please tell me a little bit about you and your family. Thank you so much!
