Description

Hello. So here’s my story: my ex-boyfriend passed away very suddenly in January. As a result I ended up taking in his kitty cat. She’s a big sweetheart and I just love her. Because I work full time, however, I thought it would be a good idea to adopt a companion kitty to keep her company when I’m not home. So I adopted a second female cat. When I went to get her, I thought she was just a few months old. Turns out I misread the ad and she’s actually just over one year old. Long story short, I’m having a hard time getting these two cats to get along. So now I’m considering rehoming the new cat. If I can’t find her a better home than the one I’m giving her now, I will keep her. So here is a bit about her: Willow is just over a year old. She’s a beautiful exotic breed called a Nebelung. That’s a fancy German word, but basically she’s a medium haired Russian Blue. She’s very shy with strangers but very affectionate with me. She also looooves catnip and gets quite comical and playful on the stuff. She is not spayed. I took her to the vet recently and got her checked out and got her a rabies shot. I also got an estimate for the spay surgery but it’s more than I can afford right now. The vet said she’s very healthy and that she’s never had kittens. I think Willow would do well in a quiet house with maybe older children and no dogs. She does spook easily so I don’t think she’d be happy in a chaotic environment. She loves the cat tower and uses the scratching post a lot. She’s fully litter trained and has never gone outside the box. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. She really is a beautiful cat, I’m just not sure she’s right for my situation. I’m asking a $200 rehome fee. I know that’s a lot of money but it’s far less than what I have invested in her (including what I initially paid for her.) Thank you for reading.
