Description
We have space available in our garage studio at our home in SE Austin. We currently have two, approximately 8'x8' spaces available. Cost is $250 per month and includes:
- access to electric kilns with a reasonable amount of firing included
- a variety of cone 6 dipping glazes are also available for use
- shared access to a Brent 14" slab roller
- shared access to a Shimpo VL Whisper wheel and Giffin Grip
- Wi-Fi
- access to a bathroom inside the house
We are looking for artists that are experienced enough to work in clay on their own. Knowledge of how to load and fire an electric kiln for your own work is helpful, but we can train you if needed.
The home and studio belong to myself and my partner, who is also a ceramic artist and is working out of the shared garage studio space, while I work out of a separate studio building in the backyard.
I also offer occasional firing services. This is as needed and not on a recurring schedule at this point. The costs are listed below.
