Description

Our client, a machine manufacturer located in the Skokie area, seeks a general production laborer. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, good with his/her hands, and have experience operating grinding/sanding equipment. Duties and Responsibilities Grind, sand, and clean steel fabrications; Prepare fabrications for paint using sanding equipment and solvents; Effectively build skids, crates to specifications provided; Package material to prevent damage during transit; Clean, insulate, and label product per specifications and work instructions; Other duties as assigned. Requirements Qualifications and Work Experience High School Diploma or GED; Accurately interpret measuring equipment; Understand safety regulations and protocols; Experience with power tools preferred; Must be authorized to work in the United States; Must have a positive attitude and foster a continuous improvement environment.
