Garden Club Presents "Trash to Treasures" Rummage & Plant Sale The Boca Raton Garden Club will host a "Trash to Treasures" Rummage and Plant sale on Friday March 18 and Saturday March 19 from 9AM to 2 PM at the club, 4281 NW Third Ave in Boca. This yearly event which is free and open to the public, offers "Gently Used" clothing, housewares, collectibles, crafts, jewelry and a huge selection of plants. "Trash to Treasures" Chair, Sheila Thomas, stated, "Again this year we're featuring a Fashion Boutique for our more discerning shoppers and this years’ plants are the most we've ever had!" She added, "We invite everyone to come, shop and take a stroll through our beautiful gardens!” The Boca Raton Garden Club has a long history of supporting the Boca community with scholarships and junior gardening programs for local students, and Garden Therapy for senior citizens at FAU’s Memory Center. Funds from Club events are also used to send students and counselors from Boca schools to Camp Wekiva nature camp each year.
