Sanfillipo Produce is hiring warehouse associates. STARITNG PAY $17 per hour SHIFT HOURS 1am to 9am ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the timely and accurate loading of produce, grocery and misc. items ordered onto delivery trucks. All items will be verified for quantity and quality and placed in specified areas of the truck. Primary Duties • Load outbound trucks according to pick sheets. • Physically inspect product for quality before loading onto trucks. Secondary Duties • Ensure coolers are leveled-off, down-stacked, and organized. • Perform cleaning tasks in accordance with the Company’s sanitation schedule. • Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED SKILLS • Lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance. • Walk and bend. • Stand for long periods of time. PREFERRED SKILLS • Detail oriented • Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods. ADDITIONAL NOTES While performing the duties of this job, an Associate is regularly exposed to vibration and moderate to high noise levels. The work environment includes congested and high traffic areas, and wet floors while working with and alongside forklifts, single pallet jacks, electric walk behind jacks and hand carts. Walking and working is done on concrete flooring. Some duties are performed in the warehouse and will require work to be done in varying climates. Temperatures inside range from 35 degrees Fahrenheit to outdoor ambient conditions.
